WINNER OF RECORD EIGHT BEST EXPORT PERFORMANCE TROPHIES AWARDED EVERY YEAR BY THE FEDERATION OF PAKISTAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY TO THE BIGGEST EXPORTER OF HAND- KNOTTED CARPETS

HERITAGE RUGS is one of the pioneer in hand knotted carpet industry in pakistan. It was incorporated in January 1980 at a time when the boom witnessed in the late 70’s in international carpet trade was over and a period of slump had started. Due to relentless efforts of its Directors, and the blessings of Allah the Company’s exports increasd substantially each year and the company is since many years well established as leader in the export of hand-knotted carpets.

The Company was awarded eight FPCCI Best Export Performance Trophies for the years 1983-84, 1985-86, 1987-1988, 1988-1989, 1989-1990, 1990-1991, 19991-1992 and 1996-1997 on account of it being the biggest exporter of hand-knotted carpets from Pakistan on the basis of annual export sales value. This is a unique and distinctive performance of the Company as no other carpet exporter has won so many trophies in the entire history of the carpet exports.

Apart from sheer benevolence of Allah, the Company attributes this success to the introduction of new concepts in designs, sizes and colours of carpets as well as improved manufacturing, processing and finishing.

On the sales front the Company endeavors to explore new markets and the Directors add personal touch to their selling efforts by frequently visiting abroad and participating in International Trade Shows and Exhibitions. They provide confidence to the customers with their honesty, fair dealings, competitive prices, high quality goods, prompt delivery of orders and efficient after sale service.

Furthermore, the Company continues to make special contribution to the development of the remote and economically backward areas by concentrating their manufacturing there and providing finances, valuable designing, colour innovations and overall guidance to workers and weavers.

Now the company has decided to move online and sell directly to its customers as well rather than just selling to wholesalers and retailers

Each hand made carpet is unique, with its own story to tell. A keen eye can tell just by looking at the design where the carpet was made and what kind of quality it possesses. The reason behind this is that carpet weaving is an art passed down through generations. The carpets made in Pakistan cannot be easily replicated by any other carpet manufacturing country and vice versa.
